So what’s Don’t Drink the Water all about?

Ever-popular Michael J. Fox (MARS ATTACKS!, THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT) and Woody Allen (SMALL TIME CROOKS, DECONSTRUCTING HARRY) star in this hilarious comedy where an outrageous mix-up labels an unsuspecting family of American tourists as a notorious ring of spies! The Hollanders are enjoying their trip behind the Iron Curtain until Walter (Allen) innocently snaps a picture of the sunset … over a politically sensitive area! Before he knows it, his family is the focus of a major international espionage incident! Forced to seek refuge at the American Embassy — it’s up to the Ambassador’s diplomatically inept son (Fox) to keep the Hollanders from landing behind bars! With Mayim Bialik (BEACHES, TV’s BLOSSOM), Dom DeLuise (ROBIN HOOD: MEN IN TIGHTS) and Julie Kavner (DECONSTRUCTING HARRY, TV’s THE SIMPSONS) in a great cast of familiar faces — you’ll laugh along with the hapless Hollanders as they find out just how hard it is to get around the Iron Curtain!

Ok, let’s look at Sisters - Criterion Collection.

First, the movie is about Margot Kidder is Danielle, a beautiful model separated from her Siamese twin, Dominique. When a hotshot reporter (Jennifer Salt) suspects Dominique of a brutal murder, she becomes dangerously ensnared in the sisters’ insidious sibling bond. A scary and stylish paean to female destructiveness, De Palma’s first foray into horror voyeurism is a stunning amalgam of split-screen effects, bloody birthday cakes, and a chilling score by frequent Hitchcock collaborator Bernard Herrmann. Criterion is proud to present Sisters in a new Special Edition..

I really enjoyed the performace of Jennifer Salt and Jennifer Salt. The rest of the cast was solid as well. The cast includes Margot Kidder, Jennifer Salt, Charles Durning, William Finley, Lisle Wilson.

Review of The Stuff

September 7th, 2008 by yazmin3043

Ok, so you want to watch The Stuff.

But before you do, check this out…

You can watch The Stuff right now! Just click this link:

Download The Stuff Right Now!

Ok, let’s look at The Stuff.

First, the movie is about B movie maverick Larry Cohen always enjoyed slipping a little social commentary into his genre pictures, and the satirical sci-fi/horror comedy The Stuff is no exception. A mix of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Blob, The Stuff is an insidiously addictive, low-calorie dessert sensation that soon wins the hearts and minds of the nation, but mostly the minds. You see, to borrow a title from another Cohen classic, it’s alive.

Michael Moriarty is an industrial spy with questionable ethics and a certain moral flexibility behind his disarming drawl. “No one is as dumb as I appear to be,” he informs his newest client, a snack food CEO who wants the secret of The Stuff. Needless to say he becomes the film’s hero, a smart-talking everyman battling a compromised FDA and a corporate baddie who sees dollar signs in every Stuff snarfing zombie he converts. Cohen’s satirical swipes at consumerism, advertising, and the ethics of corporate profit come fast and furious, if not exactly focused, and help drive the film past his–at times–sloppy direction. Moriarty’s energetic performance is hilarious, and his rag-tag crew includes Andrea Marcovicci as an advertising wunderkind (who improbably falls in love with Moriarty), Saturday Night Live alum Garrett Morris as “Famous Amos” parody “Chocolate Chip Charlie,” and Paul Sorvino as a commie-hating, conspiracy-spewing militia leader.

The DVD features commentary by Larry Cohen along with trailers and detailed biographies. –Sean Axmaker.

I really enjoyed the performace of Andrea Marcovicci and Andrea Marcovicci. The rest of the cast was solid as well. The cast includes Michael Moriarty, Andrea Marcovicci, Garrett Morris, Paul Sorvino, Scott Bloom.

Ok, let’s look at Yes - Yesspeak.

First, the movie is about Shot during the group’s 35th anniversary European tour, Yesspeak offers a 169-minute documentary about the classic progressive rock band Yes, together with an audio-only presentation of their 2003 set. The feature, narrated by Roger Daltrey, is a refreshingly straightforward affair, with a near three-hour running time allowing rather more depth than the usual rockumentary. Divided into 10 chapters, the program systematically covers the background, history, and outlook of the group before an extended interview with each of the five members of the classic lineup: Jon Anderson (vocals), Steve Howe (guitar), Chris Squire (bass), Alan White (drums), and Rick Wakeman (keys). Finally there are more general sections on touring and the band’s music. Archive material and glimpses of the 2003 tour are interwoven with the interviews, but this is very much a documentary, not a concert (to see Yes at their modern best, watch Yes: Symphonic Live, 2002).

The documentary puts a positive spin on a sometimes checkered past, and it’s clearly aimed at long-term fans, but for those who have followed Yes through the decades this is satisfyingly comprehensive and thoroughly enjoyable; from Steve Howe’s famous but still entertaining guitar/Concord story, to Rick Wakeman’s tea break during a typically expansive solo. –Gary S. Dalkin.

I really enjoyed the performace of Steve Howe and Steve Howe. The rest of the cast was solid as well. The cast includes Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman, Alan White.

Ok, let’s look at Divine Intervention.

First, the movie is about At the center of the Middle East conflict, hearts beat in tragic comedy and deadpan irony: a sexy young Palestinian woman defies Israeli soldiers and struts through a check-point as if it were the catwalk of a fashion show, Santa Claus is chased up the sun-drenched hills of Nazareth by a gang of knife-wielding school kids, Israeli police use a blindfolded prisoner to provide directions to tourists in Jerusalem, a Palestinian collaborator casually extinguishes his firebombed house on a daily basis, and a female ninja descends from the sky, holding the map of `Palestine’ as her battle shield.
